Will You by Raydachef
Will you… hold my hand as I descend?
I don’t ask for your rescue,
Nor your fragile sympathy.
I don’t need you to shoulder the weight of my chaos.
But will you touch this hollow shell,
If only to remind me that I once existed?
Words would mean nothing here—
They dissolve in the echoing void.
Thoughts are cruel, and shoulders crumble.
But will you sit with me, unafraid,
As my tears carve rivers through my silence,
As my heart implodes under the gravity of its despair,
As shadows twist and suffocate what’s left of my mind?
I walk alone through this abyss,
But will you linger at the edge,
Not to guide me,
But to bear witness to my unraveling?
For my suffering is mine alone,
My wounds bleed in patterns no one can trace.
But your presence—
A fleeting warmth against this relentless cold—
Might anchor me to the faintest memory of light.
I am forged from the darkness,
Every fracture defining me,
Every scar burning with significance.
Would you, despite it all,
Hold my hand, even as I crumble further into the void?
I don't expect salvation.
I don't seek a flicker of hope.
But if you could sit in this unending night,
If you could clasp my hand in this void—
Until I am nothing but ash and shadow—
It would be enough.
So, will you?
